Our team places incredible importance on the power of prayer. We want prayer to be the foundation of all that we do here in Ancona. The emphasis is two fold:

Prayer on our team

We have all agreed to spending time to pray, both as individuals, and together as a team. Whether finding a quiet spot to pray in a piazza, or getting up early to pray for our Life Group members, we want to continually speak to God and ask Him how to serve the people of Ancona. As a team, we have all read Red Moon Rising, a book that talks about the 24-7 prayer movement.

Prayer as a church

Our church places a high priority on prayer, whether it be during our weekly Life Groups, during our Celebation services, or during a 24 hour prayer event. In order to grow in our faith, we must be in communication with God.

Prayer from supporters in the US

Team Expansion strongly suggests that all of its missionaries maintain a list of at least 100 people who have comitted to prayer for our team very regulary. We each communicate with our groups of prayer warriors at least twice monthly. Please contact us if you would like to be added to the list!
